Well – a daughter of a preacher but not quite like the song.
Childhood was wonderful. Sunday school pantomimes at Christmas. A talented cousin wrote our plays.
“Omo Omo. Woe betide her – she’ll end up with a knife inside her.
How sad. That’s the only thing I can remember. And I can’t recall who said what. What I do remember is a lot of fun and laughter
It was Snow White I think – but I can’t remember which character was speaking. Is it politically correct? No. Narrating for lots of school plays, Gilbert and Sullivan at secondary.
Adolescence came. The magic went. I hid in a shell and stayed there for the next twenty years.
The call came. Two children later, an agnostic husband and I became a churchgoer. Then a church leader. Yes I speak now.
How did that happen?
God’s grace appears in the most surprising places. And the story continues…..
