My family would describe me as incredibly naive! I try to show kindness to everyone, and I’m disappointed if I find it’s misplaced. People are misunderstood, I tell them. There are times when I find that my kindness or patience have been taken for granted.

Still, I would rather be judged for kindness than intolerance. It’s better to wait rather than judge before you know the facts.

I do not apologise for naivety. People have shown kindness and generosity to me. I return it in my dealing with others. May it always be that way.
