How likely is this?

I’m one of those who avoids sport at all costs. I’d hide in the toilets in school. I’d feign illness.

Walking the dog, however, is one of my joys. Twice a day, whether he likes it or not – poor dog- suppose he’s like me and would so love to have a break from all this “run here- run there- climb that rope- vault that horse. Not that I’d ever ask the dog to jump over a horse!

So – what sport would I choose? Netball is marginally less dreadful than hockey. Football has never really interested me. Tennis, I watch. Cricket appears on our family screen despite my protests. So we’ll design an outfit for a local tennis team. Colours. Well, we could go with red white and blue but that seems a bit boring. How about flourescent pink and orange against a white background? That seems bright and cheerful, and you’ll still be able to see the ball. The mascot would have to be a Yorkshire Terrier.

Now, our dog is looking pleadingly at me – begging me to pick up his lead and walk him in the park. OK, my loyal friend – I’m coming…..
