Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Now – do you mean play as in sport? Like football, tennis and such like? If so the answer is a resounding No – that’s definitely not me.
However – I can toss a ball for a dog. I can toss a pancake – but not necessarily catch it at the end.
I can play a piano/keyboard but not nearly well enough to play in public.
When I was younger, the family used to play board games and get the chess out. I could never win a chess game. I think you have to be able to think strategically to play that game. And because I could never win, I stopped playing.
Playing is for enjoyment. I’ll stick with my keyboard, my blogging – not forgetting throwing balls for my best friend. If that keeps him happy, then it keeps me happy too.
So – my advice to the world – keep friends around you – and keep doing the things you love.
Happy playtime everyone – and a happy and healthy New Year. xx
